Lookin'
Hi Lookin! Come in! *hugs and kisses on cheek*

Oh Rosie I am so excited about us getting together – this is just awesome.
Isn’t it fun! Oh sorry – don’t worry about the dog, she’ll just lick you to death if you let her.

Oh I have one just like her at home – nothing but a bundle of love.

Aww, just gotta love those bundles of love! Come in – out the back, we need some refreshments and of cause some sweet and savory munchies!
Ok, let’s get into it so we can relax and have some down time after. I’ve a question for you – what is the most exciting thing that you can remember doing when you were a child?

I loved spending 6 weeks each summer with my Aunt & Uncle. They lived in Santa Maria, CA – and we would go to the Pismo Beach and play in the surf. School would get out – and my Mother would send me away to them!

Oh, I’ve heard of that place – Pismo Beach. Aww that sounds like a great memory!
Oh it was Rosie because my Aunt used to baby sit me when I was young and I grew up watching her 6 kids. We went full circle so to speak. I also sang on T.V. with some popular kid show performers and sang with my Sister at a teen club and at an amusement park in Phoenix, Az on the weekends.

From age 15-18. Had a ball being a little “big shot” at least in my mind. *totally laughing out loud*

YOU DID TELLY? Oh wow that sounds so exciting! You wouldn’t want to yack a tad about that would you?
Well Rosie I doubt if you have heard of Wallace & Ladmo here in Australia, but in Phoenix they were on the Telly, as you call it, for over 35 years and very famous. It was a wonderful experience to work with them every weekend – they still have picture es of us on their website.
Great memories of wonderful people.
GREAT memories – wow! Umm, just wondering – if you could go anywhere on this planet, where would you like to visit?
Actually next year will be my 25th Anniversary.

We put a blended family together with four kids from 12-18 and we all survived. So when we talked about a party I suggested Maui to celebrate and my Son and Daughter and their spouses are coming also so that we can all celebrate together – It should be a blast Hawaiian style.

Twenty five years (next February and 12 grand children later ) and we’re still in love – Praise God.
Ohh my goodness! Congratulations on your 25th! I know its next year but wow – well done! The whole lot of you are going? Sounds like a big shin dig of a party to me! You go girl!
…and then someday I would then like to see New Zealand.

Yeah – John and I went there last interview *giggles* Apart from Mr Ornery, and a heap of sheep, is there anyone else you’d like to see there?

I wanta see all the hobbits – and their adorable little houses.

Wouldn’t it be fun having a cuppa in one of their little houses, you know… the ones with the round doors?

It sure would Rosie, I just loved the look of those houses and the country side.
Ohh great scenery! Gosh that’d be fun. Speaking of fun, what makes you smile?
Little babies and how great they smell. Nothing is better than that.

I love all baby animals too – I’m such a snuggle bunny in person – I just love to hold and squeeze em and kiss em and hug em - OK.. I’m getting carried away! *laughing*

Aww that’s too cute! There are some not so nice smells that come from babies too though *giggles*
Oh let’s not go there –
Advise taken *laughs* I guess here on the stream, most of us are writers but, do you like to read?
Yes – I love short stories but actually I love reading people more than books. *raising my eyebrow and nodding*

OOO do tell…

I love reading people’s body language and their faces. I was given a gift by God that lets me look into their eyes and see the truth in their words, or the lies, and if they are really happy or sad. I can hear it in their words they speak or write also, so I have a lot of empathy for most because I really feel their pain and their joys.

Umm, all I have to say about that is … WOW … So, a tad prophetic? Compassionate yet a straight shooter, great combo! Discernment’s a great gift!
You know Rosie, I would love it if all people who lied would have their noses blink red and grow like Pinocchio’s. I hate liars – the truth is so simple to remember.

*giggles* Yeah, my dad used to say that a good liar has to be really clever cause they have to remember what they told to whom and who was there and so on.
That is so true – and liars are so easy to catch because their stories always are a bit altered and the puzzle pieces don’t quite fit back together as the truth does. You know what I mean?

I’m not very good at picking up lies, so I try to not believe anything I hear and only half of what I see. Talking about seeing Lookin’, that’s a nice jumper you’ve got on, is it your favorite? Actually what’s your favorite item of clothing?
My old baggie green sweats – I just love the comfortable feeling they bring to me.

Just something about the familiar isn’t there?
Exactly
What do you like the most about yourself?
That God loves me just as I am – and my hubby and kids do too! There is nothing better than to know that you’re loved unconditionally…
That unconditional love thing… it’s the most amazing gift isn’t it?
Yes that is the best. I never had that growing up and I have made sure my kids know that I will always love them – even if I don’t like what they do from time to time. Also that I am a good and loyal friend or your worst nightmare, if you hurt the ones I love.

:: Note to self – never get on the wrong side of Lookin’ ::
*Grins* Aww, real friends are hard to find, I’m glad your friends have found you. Too beautiful! Tell me, what do you like the most about the world?
That I am blessed enough to have been born the United States. I have been elsewhere – nothing compares to the life we live here in our United States – we are so rich compared to the poverty in some parts of the world.

I understand what you’re saying, kinda spoiled brats here in Australia too. Well lets talk about that for a bit then. What’s your favorite food, song and pair of shoes?

Chili Verde Burritos, and Mint Choc. Chip ice cream but not together *laughing*

Hmm, trying NOT to imagine that combo *laughs*
…but I do love chocolate anything.
Chocolate – THE most dangerous and addictive drug on the planet!
Then you know what I mean! *laughing* Nothing is better – (well almost nothing…)

And I love the song “Believe” by Brooks & Dunn – but songs change with my life stages and I love so many of them for different reasons…
Life is like that… yeah, I understand what you’re saying…
…and Shoes, when it comes to shoes – wow – who doesn’t love shoes – but I like going barefoot the most.

Oh my goodness! You’re a bare footer? I’m a bare footer! Are you a floor sitter, finger instead of cutlery eater and a nudie sleeper too?

Oh ya – girlfriend we are two peas in a pod there – absolutely – I only wear PJ’s around the house – never to bed – I get all twisted up – *wiggling my arms all over*
Soooooo annoying! Claustrophobic in my own sleeves! Hey Lookin’ - what tickles your fancy – or should I say – how healthy is your giggle button?
I am always laughing! – I really love my life and where I am at this stage of my life. I have this inner peace that can only be described as the love I have been given from God that completes me and makes me feel whole.

I was chatting with Joe Christian just the other day in chat, he’d mentioned the hole in our lives that only God can fill – it must be nice to be comfortable about being who you are.

You bet and I get that you are content also, Rosie – we seem to be very much alike. And I just love your place here, it is so serene and the beauty of your country side is just awesome. How wonderful to have all this each day at your door step.
Well mate, its only nice having the lives we live if we can share it all with someone else, its sooo nice that you’re here! Please Lookin’, press your ‘giggle button’ and tell us a funny?

Once I was riding with my hubby in my “280 Z” on the way to San Francisco (we were dating) so it was a while back and I was just looking at the beautiful clouds. I spotted this one that looked exactly like a goose and I yelled “Look at the goose” - My poor hubby didn’t realize it was clouds I was looking at and ran off the road trying not to hit it – screaming “where – did I miss it?” We still laugh about that one and he always says – “let me know if your cloud watching” whenever we begin a new trip.

Oops! Yeah, it’s amazing how the littlest bit of information can mean so much huh? *giggles* That must have been a tad embarrassing – him driving along and dodging, well… nothing. Do you think you’re brave enough to broadcast the most embarrassing moment you can remember?
Oh dear – there have been so many – I hate to tell on myself. But, once when I was pregnant I was waiting in line at the grocery story and I sneezed and pee’d my pants and left a puddle on the floor. I just left my cart and walked away – I was so embarrassed - - I mean what else could I do – call for “clean up isle 5”

Nope, I just ran out of the store as fast as I could – *shaking head from side to side*
Ohh my goodness! *blushes* I think I’m embarrassed for you. RUN!!! Ohh lookin’, I’m so laughing out loud! If I worked there I would have still loved you! *grins* Hey, when in your life did you feel the most loved?
Every time my hubby says he loves me (he will even call me from work with “I love you” calls) and especially when he just laughs when I do something stupid instead of getting angry. Yes – I have a special guy – who lets me be me – and he enjoys it. He is a keeper. Also I have to say playing with my grandkids and just feeling the love that we have for each other. I’m a tickler and I love hearing them laugh.

A tickler huh? *moves away*
Aww, that’s too beautiful! You guys are romantics aren’t you?
Yes we are – we still have date nights.

Sounds like you’ll have a lovely time away in Maui.
I know we will
Mate! I’m so enjoying the fact that you love life and it’s really nice to see that you appreciate so much. Life can be so challenging at times can’t it?
It sure can if you forget your priorities in life and forget to love the ones you can while you can. We may never have tomorrow so we have to make today count. I so believe that.

So important to remember that! OK then… if these next words were the last words you would ever speak again – what would they be?
“Forgive me Father for all that I have done to disappoint you and thank you for my wonderful life.”
I don’t know if He’ll focus so much on the disappointments as much as getting all excited over seeing you - just like you when you get to hang out with the grand kids?
I think you’re right Rosie – and I think when we see each other that’s when the “real” party will begin.

Oh! You most certainly have got that one right! “We’re coming up so they’d better get the party started” *laughs*
Hey Rosie, I have had so much fun today – to bad we live so far apart.

Well I’m so happy you’re here and we could have some fun for a bit.
…but that is what is so nice about being on the blog stream – we can converse daily and keep in touch. Someday we are all going to have to get together and have one of Lucy’s Irish flings and break out the beer and pretzels and really have a Bella’s Saturday Night Party – don’t you think?

Ohh my goodness! Then we’d meet the blogstream crew! Who will you be running up to grab and say g’day to?
Oh that would be tough but besides you, I think I would grab Lucy first, cause she has been the best when it comes to helping and I just love her to death

– then SammyJo
–
– because she is like a daughter to me and I would be looking for Coloconnect
–
– cause I think she is a classy lady
– then Biggie T cause he has my heart
–
– and then Rev cause he shares my faith.
–
– Then Taylor
–
– and, Whisper
–
– and Dixie
–
– and Secret
–
– and POH
–
– and after that it wouldn’t matter because I have so many friends that I would just love and hug them all over and over.
Yeah … the lovin just goes on and on *giggles* What a buzz!
Happy days and happy trails to all of us – it would be such a kick to just see the face to the image I have put in my mind – Wow, wow, wow, as I say – that would be a dream come true for me to meet the “stream crew” as I call them.
I’m just spewing that our little party chat has to end but that’s the way it is I guess. Thank you, thank you – fairdinkum, its’ been so fun! Love you, happy travels and – see ya round the stream!

Thank you Rosie I adore you and I love being here – God bless you and all your love forever.
