The sunrise was just breaking the horizon when the small private jet
touched down on the runway in Texas.
Carefully placing the precious cargo I was transporting deep into my
shoulder bag and holding securely to the long awaited promised Frappa
we exited the aircraft.
My heart raced at the thought of finally getting to meet Decorous.
As my eyes searched the unfamiliar surroundings... a jolt of my body, arms
and legs clinching around my neck and waist and the cutest little face peeking
over my shoulder I heard "Hi Momma....Whatcha got in the bag?"
Steadying the Frappa and trying to contain the laughter
I said "Hi Hay...It's nice to meet you too!"
Is it for me? I just love surprises! As her feet hit the ground her face
disappeared into the bag to be greeted by a warm wet tongue and sweet
"Okay Hailey I brought the Frappa did you bring the Magic?" Reaching
into her pocket and pulling out a glowing container she opened it carefully,
a deep breath and a mysterious soft wind and we were off on the adventure
of a lifetime. Magic had brought us together and it would be magic that
would accompany us to our journey.
Through time and space we drifted, catching rides on shooting stars and
climbing Moonbeams until we reached our long awaited destination the Moon.
With puppy in hand and climbing on to my lap we got down
to the business at hand.
(MISTY) "You remember why we're here right Hay....the
(DECOROUS) “The what?" She said smiling teasingly
(MISTY) "Tell me what brought you to Blogstream, and what did
you hope to get out of it?"
(DECOROUS) “I had a sister who used to blog, every now and then I
go back and read her blog which is all that is left of her...words are
like whispers in the night...they consist of our thoughts our goals, our
dreams..which can make us or break us as we make our way thru this
system of things. I wanted my words to be remembered, used, understood
whether it was now or in the future. I wanted to be heard..I wanted to
hear myself think. It’s like therapy; the unfolding thru each word that
escapes our mind and dares to enter a world of written form.
(MISTY) "How or why did you pick your name?"
(DECOROUS) Mind Power is the title of one of my favorite books...I
have a summary of it on my BookPower4MP blog. That book truly changed
me and helped me to better understand myself, and the affirmation
it holds...helped redirect my life.
Decorous ...I always want to be known for proper behavior and good taste.
Which is my specialty by the way.
(MISTY) "What do you feel you bring to the stream?"
(DECOROUS) Craziness...my posts are merely a grain of salt compared to
the deeper thoughts which will never be spoken. I have too many
unanswered questions and a mission to bring true justice towards all mankind!
What will I bring to Blogstream? Big words that make no sense.
(MISTY) "What might we find you doing in your spare time?
(DECOROUS) I'm an avid reader....I read for fun...I read for
pleasure...I read for entertainment...I read if I'm sad or happy.
I read every tiny word that comes into my sight. Yeah reading would be it.
(MISTY) "What was the last book you read?"
(DECOROUS) A Heretic Guide to Eternity-Spencer Burke
(MISTY) "If you could change one thing in the world today, what
(DECOROUS) I would make license to have children a law...without
doubt, it would be a tough test to take and no second chances.
(MISTY)What is the greatest lesson life has taught you?
(DECOROUS) That your real mom does not have to be your birthmother.
It can be that person who gives birth to your
soul...It can be the woman who fills your life
stability, protection, unconditional love. My greatest life
lesson is learning the true meaning of love by people who are not blood
related to me but who love me for who I am and have
introduced me to family life without pain.

Life is filled with life lessons on a daily basis.
(MISTY) If you knew the world was going to end in one week what
would you still have left to accomplish?
(DECOROUS) I feel like I haven't lived to know what I'm missing in
life. I haven't found true love (relationship kind), I haven't had my first
child or purchased my first home. I have unfinished business to
accomplish...The world can't end in a week. I need more time...ok?
(MISTY) What do feel is your biggest character weakness?
(DECOROUS) I'm extremely sensitive...I get hurt easily and I cry for no
reason at all. I'm a wimp...you can say that out loud. (lol)
(MISTY) When was the last time a blog made you laugh?
(DECOROUS) Bookworm’s blog makes me lol all the time with his many
silly jokes, so does Miss Lou...they always have positive and encouraging
post. Everyone on my blogs I like list make me lol or cry. I love all my
I really enjoy intellectual blogs like Mr. Whit's, When I'm
in a reading mood I rush to read everything I've missed
on his blog and I wish that Art would still blog I
miss his. I like Mr. Adam's blog deep thought post and Mr. T.S.
(MISTY) And made you cry?
(DECOROUS) I cry when I read that my blog friends are ill or having
problems. I cried when I heard about WP's dad, I cried when I found out
Katie was sick, I cried when I read about Gabriel being placed with
family members. I cried when I heard Abby's baby isn't doing
well...then I pray and leave it all in God's hands because I feel
so helpless...I have to leave it in God's hands cause all the hope
in the world won't fix a thing in life. (wipes away tears from eyes)
(MISTY) What is your greatest dream?
(DECOROUS) I dream that child abuse would stop and all perpetrators
would die and go to hell where they belong.(looks away and hopes no
one gets mad at me for feeling that way)
(MISTY) If you could choose a super power what would it
(HAILEY) Time......having full control of
Time...past...present...future.
(MISTY) How has blogstream changed since you've been here and what
changes would you like to be seen made?
(DECOROUS) I believe that the number of members have increased by the
thousands, therefore the initial flow has increased as well...so
instead of an easy flow....we find ourselves trying to keep up with the rapids
and at times we find ourselves drowning emotionally...and that place we
once called our place of refuge becomes too much for us...
so we have to go back to land...and breathe...but once the waters
are calm...we all retreat back
to our usual place of haven and move forward. Life is good.
(MISTY) "What 5 CD's are currently in your player?"
(DECOROUS) CD's? I don't buy CD's...I download all my fav music from
the internet into my ipod. I'll have to be a devoted fan and say "Christina
Aguillera, Tamyra Gray, Miley Cyrus, Zac Efron, Corbin Bleu
(MISTY) "What Is Favorite alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage?"
(DECOROUS) Carmel Frappacino from starbucks
or Valettas...simply the best!
(MISTY) "What is your Most embarrassing moment you remember?"
(DECOROUS) MOMMA! Well ok, my first day ever to wear heels..like
bratz girl heels...and my first mini skirt.(those 2 don't go together)...It
was like my first day at a community college...ok well...I had just flat
iron my hair and looked and felt Marvelous...galore' and as I was walking
down the hall...I slipped and made a half split...and tried to keep my
balance I ended flat on my face with my purple butterfly underoo's exposed
to the entire campus! See now I'm having flashbacks! (Covers face)
(MISTY) "What is your nationality?
(DECOROUS) I was told I was born white trash wait is that a
nationality? Um my dad is German, and my mom is Irish…or is it the other
way around? I don't recall and I don't really know them that well to ask them
something so personal..ya no? Ethnic background?" isn't that the
same thing? Why do people ask that? Does it even matter?
(MISTY) "What is your middle name?"
(DECOROUS) whispers..."Aleese"
(MISTY) "What is your favorite word?"
(DECOROUS) Volunteerism - doing something for someone
without pay, but with a lot of sacrifice and effort to help benefit others.
(MISTY) "What is your least favorite word?"
(MISTY) "What turns you on [creatively, spiritually or
(DECOROUS) Life without pain sounds great!
(MISTY) "What turns you off?"
(MISTY) "What is your favorite curse word?"
(DECOUROUS) "funkymonkey"
(MISTY) Speaking of monkeys if you be an animal what would you
(DECOROUS) I like being human and doing all the things that humans
do...but if I had to pick and animal..I'd pick an owl
because they fly and bathe in the moonlight.
If you are talking mythical creatures..I'd love to be a mermaid!
Wouldn't that be wonderful!!! To live in the sea and be half human and half fish!
(MISTY) "What sound or noise do you love?"
(DECOROUS) Drums beating...it's like the earth joining forces with
the moon...so relaxing and inviting.
(MISTY) "What sound or noise do you hate?"
(DECOROUS) I can't stand to hear babies crying.
(MISTY) "What profession other than your own would you like to
(DECOROUS) When I was much younger..like 2 years ago...I wanted to
be a vocalist...but not anymore Milie Cyrus is living
my dream...I would have to say; she stole it!
(MISTY) "What profession would you not like to do?"
(DECOROUS) Reading prison mail" what is that profession called?
(MISTY) "If Heaven exists, what would you like God to say to you?
(DECOROUS) "I am not going to heaven...perhaps...if Heaven was for
all people...then I'd say..."Alas!! There you are my dear child!"
(MISTY) "What 5 bloggers you want to meet?"
(DECOROUS) Well since I met you today...I guess I'll have to pick 5
other bloggers....Lets see...taps pencil on forehead...jots down 100 names on
paper...nope not him...nah...not her...umm..maybe him...no not
really...Scratches pad...looks at list...Well I'm down to 50 can I name
(MISTY) "If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you like
(DECOROUS) I'm limited to the world? (Discombobulated look) World...I
guess...Coral Island...and only for a couple of days...I would rather
be lost in the world of books then any place on earth.
(MISTY) Well Hailey that's the last question and let me say you have
been a pleasure to interview. You did a fantastic job and I couldn't be
prouder of you! I would just like to take a minute to tell our friends here on
Blogstream that Hailey was extremely sick while doing this interview.
The last night trying to tie together all the lose ends I cried at the
cruelness of having to have her complete this interview.
I wanted to just let it fly as it was.....but Hailey refused and insisted we see this through to
the end! To you Hailey I say "THANK YOU"
you are my hero and inspiration. LYWAMH. Now lets see if we
can't locate a falling star and send this Interview down to Bookworm.
