1. When was the last time you dressed up for Halloween? What did you go as?
The last time I dressed up as anything for Halloween was about 17 years ago. Chris and I went to a Halloween Party together. I dressed as a woman. Chris never wore that dress again. She said I looked better in than she did.

2. What's the first Halloween costume that you remember wearing?
They blend together. I remember going as the devil, pirate, Frankenstein, a Thunderbird and wolfman.

3. Do you think Halloween costumes for kids and teenagers are too provocative these days?
Way too provocative. Too many girls look like hookers in training. The boys like gangsta wannabes. Too much too soon. (When did I become an old fogey?)
4. Do you give out candy on Halloween? Why or why not?
Yes, we give out candy. We do it because we enjoy seeing the kids in costumes. Each year sees a decrease in the number of kids. Trick or treating isn’t as safe as it used to be.

5. How old were you when you stopped trick-or-treating? Do you miss it?
I was probably 12 or 13. I went trick or treating with a buddy of mine. Lights were on at this one house, but no one answered. My buddy decided to soap their front window…and the door started to open. Almost caught…My buddy was in a cat costume with a long tail that drug the ground. He had a torn costume because in our running from the house I stepped on it. I started going to parties after that and gave up trick or treating as too dangerous. I miss the candy.
